The bars feel real nice and sturdy. Grips does its purposes, providing firm grip on the ground. The bar thickness is on point; you can have a really good grip on them and get a nice stretch when you do push-ups etc. You can L sit and handstand on them without worrying about the wood slipping when palms get sweaty.
